Bathrooms are tricky places with wet surfaces and slippery floors and hence extra safety is needed to avoid falls. And when it comes to falls in a shower or bath, children and adults with disability or illness are prone to it as are seniors. (Elderly grab rails is, therefore, a misnomer!). 

The shower or bathtub isn’t the only place where falls can occur. Sitting down and getting off the toilet can cause you to take a tumble as well.
